You can count on us beyond gardening!

Installation of robotic lawnmowers in small front gardens, larger, more structured gardens, communal gardens, parks, industrial areas or sports facilities.

For a more structured, larger garden, it’s crucial to be aware of several settings in order for your robotic lawnmower to work perfectly. For example, remote starting points, exit angles, aisle width, etc. A professional with years and decades of experience can save us a lot of hassle and help us choose the right machine, install it, make the necessary adjustments and explain how to use the robotic lawnmower.

Our colleagues and installation partners are all licensed installers by Husqvarna Hungary Ltd. Only with this training and licence can anyone install a Husqvarna robotic lawnmower, ensuring that they have the right knowledge and background for their machine.

Custom installation of a robotic lawnmower

If you do decide to install your robotic lawnmower yourself, it’s worth knowing the basics, the specifics of the lawnmower, to ensure it works properly.

All the Husqvarna and Gardena machines we sell have a random mowing pattern. This means that the machine does not have a predetermined pattern to work to, but moves randomly around your garden. The result is that it can cover the whole area and cut the grass from all directions, so the mowing pattern is always perfect. The boundaries of the area are marked by a low-voltage cable, and the robotic lawnmower senses this to know where the circumscribed area is where it needs to work. This cable can be positioned in two different ways along the boundaries of the lawn to be mown.

The first method is to ‘pull’ the cable along the surface of the grass and secure it with suitable staking pins. The other method is to run the cable in the ground, which is a much more aesthetic solution, but this can only be done with a cable-laying machine specially designed for the job.

Manufacturers are subject to strict legal requirements that regulate, for example, the distance between the blades and the edge of the mower housing. In addition, all robots have a lift sensor. If the mower is lifted, the blade motor is immediately switched off. However, despite these safety measures, the owner of a robotic lawnmower should always observe and comply with the safety instructions in the user manual. Small children should not be left unattended in the garden while the robotic lawnmower is working, a solution to this may be to set the mowing to night time. If you have any further questions about other safety solutions, please contact us at one of our contact details.

Frequently asked questions about robotic lawnmowers

The grass robots use sensors to detect pre-positioned boundary wires. The cable thus delimits the work area, and the robotic lawnmowers work within this enclosed area. Obstacles within the work area (trees, bushes, etc.) are avoided by the lawnmower robot, which systematically maps the terrain and performs the mowing work by means of collision sensors or loops of cable laid at a suitable distance around the obstacles.
Whether it's a small front garden or a holiday home of several thousand m2, our range of robotic lawnmowers offers the optimum solution for every need. If you want to have a beautiful, evenly mown lawn all year round and save time by replacing the weekly mowing you used to do by hand, a robotic lawnmower is the best solution for you.
Robotic lawnmowers do not collect grass! The way they work is that they cut the top 1-2 mm of the grass in a cutting period, which falls back to the surface of the lawn, providing natural nutrients for the area to be mown.
